Leaders' Day
Leaders'Day is an adult enhancement Day for Girl Scouts leaders and volunteers. Whether you are looking for hands-on science activities or to help your troop earn science badges, Leaders'Day gives you an opportunity to interact with museum staff and have some fun and take home lots of ideas and free stuff!
Each Leaders'Day addresses a different area of science:
- September 9th-Biological/Life Sciences.
- December 2nd-hysics/Chemistry.
- February 4th-Earth/Space Science.
- Time 9:30 to 12:00.
- Cost $20.00 per leader.

- Minimum of 10 scouts per workshop.
- Maximum of 25 scouts per workshop.
- Payment is due at time of registration.
- Badges are part of the workshop price if booked at least two weeks in advance.
- If ESCS must cancel a workshop, a full refund will be issued.
- If you must cancel enrollment in a workshop, please do so at least one week before a workshop. A refund, less a $2.00 administrative fee per cancellation will be issued.
- Scout leaders and adults are not charged for troop workshops but are required to remain with troop to supervise scouts.
Scout Workshops
The Emerald Coast Science Center offers scout workshops for Brownie Girl Scouts and Junior Girl Scouts. Each workshop has been designed to fulfill all of the requirements to complete the badge. All workshops are hands-on and full of science exploration and fun! Schedule a workshop convenient for your troop and let our staff do all the work! We provide all materials and equipment needed for your scouts to complete their badge. Afterwards, stay and enjoy our hands-on exhibits throughout the museum. The Emerald Coast Science Center sits on a beautiful waterfront park ideal for a picnic lunch.
