Guided Dissections

Dissections To GoIt is very difficult for most schools to offer quality dissection programs. The Emerald Coast Science Center can address that need by bringing quality, hands-on, dissection programs to your class. Our expert instructors will guide your students through an actual dissection and examination. We provide everything including materials, handouts, tools and of course the specimens. You may choose from the following list of fascinating creatures.

  1. Invertebrate (Squid)

  2. Vertebrate (Frog)

This program is limited to 28 students per class session. Larger groups may be accommodated through multiple, same day sessions. Basic dissection class fee per student is $7.50. Dissection classes must be booked at least two weeks in advance to allow us to assemble required specimens and equipment.
