The ECSC Capital Campaign

After 25 years of inspiring exploration, discovery, and interest in science through our in-school programming and our interactive exhibits, the Board of Directors and Volunteers of the Emerald Coast Science Center are pleased to have purchased a permanent location for our continued growth and success. Opening November 2014, The new Center, located at 31 Memorial Parkway, will provide us with an additional 2500 square feet of exhibit and class room space, so that we can continue our mission for another 25 years!

We have set fundraising goals to enable us to become debt free in the next 5 years. Our goals not only address our current needs but also provide for future growth of our exhibits and educational programs. These goals will only be accomplished by help from those who are as passionate about creating a child's early love for science as we are!

We are actively strengthening and expanding our relationships throughout the business community here on the Emerald Coast for this purpose and are excited about partnership with our larger donors. We see this new building as our greatest opportunity yet to impact the educational future of numerous children who live and vacation here on the Emerald Coast.

Our Mission Statement: To inspire exploration, discovery, and interest in science through interactive exhibits and the highest quality education programs.

The Emerald Coast Science Center is the leading science education museum in Northwest Florida. In our new 8500 square foot facility, visitors encounter two large exhibit halls as well as smaller rooms with interactive exhibits that teach about Robotics as well as physical and earth sciences.

The museum also offers a wide range of on‐site science education programming. As an education provider, the Emerald Coast Science Center also teaches outreach science education to students in public and private schools throughout Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties.

Detailed below are the recognition levels that we have designed to allow us to give maximum visibility for our donors as we move forward with the growth and expansion of the Emerald Coast Science Center.
