DUE TO SCHEDULING ISSUES, TODAY'S CHEM DEMO CANNOT BE HELD. WE WILL SHOW A CREATURE FEATURE IN ITS PLACE. SORRY FOR AN INCONVENIENCE!
Ever wondered what rainbow fire looks like? Or just what exactly elephant toothpaste is? We like to show off our mad scientist skills during Chem Demos, so things might be set on fire, there could be small-scale explosions, but don't worry, you'll be watching it all happen from a safe distance...there will be time to both "ooh!" and "ahh!" as we explore many feats of science. It's fair to say these visual demonstrations are an absolute gas.
To reduce interactions between guests and staff, our normal summer programming will look a little different this year. Our Chem Demos will be conducted outside in our amphitheater (weather permitting--event will be moved inside in inclement weather); these presentations will only be visual in nature to allow for social distancing between staff and guests. Thank you for your understanding as we adjust to these new procedures.
