Join us the first Saturday of every month for special themes and exciting activities! Space at Discover Science Saturday is available on a first come, first served basis. Exciting News for Discover Science Saturdays

 We’re thrilled to announce new times and special pricing for our Discover Science Saturdays! In our commitment to inspire and cultivate a scientifically engaged community, we are lowering admission to just $12 per guest on Discover Science Saturdays (still free for members!). This change is designed to enhance accessibility for all, making it easier for families and individuals to explore the wonders of science together. Join us for a day filled with discovery and fun, and let’s fuel our passion for learning.


Theme: Sea Turtle Science. Join Jessica Valek, Okaloosa's Natural Resources Manager, for a Shell-abration of Sea Turtle Science. We’re turning the tide on fun with a wave of activities that will leave you feeling fin-tastic! Activities include:

  • Sea Turtle Surgery: Get hands-on with some shell-shocking science

  • Jessica’s Sea Turtle Treasures: Discover some turtle-tastic items

  • Turtle Intake Activity: It’s a turtle-y awesome experience

  • Light Display Awareness: Shine a light on turtle conservation

Space at this event is available on a first come, first served basis. Your RSVP helps us determine the number of guests to expect so we have ample materials. Thank you!

-Hands-on activities available from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

-sciPad open to all from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.


Access to all activities included with $12 admission per guest (which means current Science Center members get in FREE).
