About The Event

We're hosting our Girls Engaged in Making (GEM) workshops for girls in ages 8-15. Studies have shown that most girls lose interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by age 15. Our GEM Workshops are aimed at providing girls with hands-on activities and experiences to keep them involved in STEM. GEM is fun, engaging, educational, and shows the numerous ways STEM topics can be pursued.

First Saturdays of Each Month*

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm

Cost

$20 Members/$25 Non-Members

*Pre-registration is required so that there are enough materials for everyone.

Please fill out our registrations form here and either email it to business-office@ecscience.org or bring it with you to the workshop.
