Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Girls Engaged in Making (GEM) Workshops give girls ages 10-15 a chance to experience hands-on STEM activities.

About The Event
We're hosting our Girls Engaged in Making (GEM) workshops for girls in
5th through 8th grade (ages 10-15). Studies have shown that most girls lose interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) at age 15. Our GEM Workshops are aimed at providing girls with hands-on activities and experiences to keep them involved in STEM. GEM is fun, engaging, educational, and shows the numerous ways STEM topics can be pursued.
