August 18 & 19: The Spectrum of Science

Science comes in all shapes and sizes. Take a closer look at the work of scientists who think differently, and whose unique perspectives and creative minds have led to remarkable discoveries. This workshop celebrates the power of diverse minds in science and reminds us that curiosity doesn’t follow just one path. Through stories, discussions, and hands-on exploration, we’ll discover that there’s no single way to be a scientist- just your own!

September 15 & 16: Biomimic Builders

What if we could borrow ideas from nature to build better technology? Biomimicry explores just that: how animals and plants inspire innovations in design, movement, and survival. Dive into the secrets of sticky surfaces, water harvesting, and camouflage, and try your hand at creating your own nature-inspired solutions.

October 13 & 14: Robotics 101*

Ready to get your circuits buzzing? In this workshop, kids will learn how robots use sensors, motors, and computer code to move and solve problems. They’ll get hands-on experience programming simple commands to control their own robots, discovering how technology turns ideas into action. This workshop sparks curiosity and builds skills in engineering, coding, and critical thinking, all while having tons of fun!

November 17 & 18: Geo-Science

Dig into the fascinating world beneath our feet! Uncover nature’s natural treasures and unlock the secrets they carry through fun, hands-on exploration. Learn how stones form, where they come from, and the ancient secrets they hold. From collecting treasures to creating art inspired by the Earth’s gems, let your curiosity lead you on an adventure through nature’s beauty.

December 15 & 16: Prehistoric Planet

Step into the world of ancient Earth as we explore the science of the prehistoric past! May 18 & 19: Deep Sea Discoveries

Journey into the deepest parts of the ocean: from the twilight zone to the pitch-black trenches, and discover the wild science of life far below the waves. Kids will explore marine biology, oceanography, and adaptations that help creatures survive in the cold, dark, high-pressure world of the deep sea.
