Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Junior Girls Engaged in Making (GEM) Workshops give girls ages 8-11 a chance to experience hands-on STEM activities.

About The Event
We're hosting our Junior Girls Engaged in Making (GEM) workshops for girls in ages 8-11. Studies have shown that most girls lose interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by age 15. Our GEM Workshops are aimed at providing girls with hands-on activities and experiences to keep them involved in STEM. GEM is fun, engaging, educational, and shows the numerous ways STEM topics can be pursued.
