About The Event

Create outside the box. Use cutting-edge tools like our Glowforge 3D laser  printer, Prusa 3D printers, Cricut, embroidery sewing machine, and more. Our Makerspace is open every Thursday from 1 - 3 p.m. and every third Saturday of the month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30  p.m. This is not a drop off program, but something for families and groups to enjoy together.

April 23 Makerspace Experience:

  • Design and build a Lego structure that can withstand an earthquake in honor of Richter Scale Day on the 26th. How tall can you build it before it collapses in a quake test?

Access to the Makerspace is included with general admission pricing, but certain activities do incur an additional fee based on materials and equipment utilized. Additional costs are outlined in each event listing's activities and can be paid for via phone or when you arrive to the museum. Online ticketing and registration are not available for this activity.
