About The Event
In honor of World Ocean Day, Beach.com invites you to take action and help protect our shores at the Okaloosa Island Beach Cleanup. Their mission is to inspire travelers and coastal communities to care for the places we love, and this global day of ocean conservation is the perfect opportunity to make a difference.

Meeting Point
Volunteers will gather at The Okaloosa Island Boardwalk, located at 1450 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548. Please arrive by 9 a.m. for a brief orientation and to collect your cleanup bag and t-shirt.
What to Bring
Reusable water bottle
Sunscreen
Hat and sunglasses
Gloves of some sort
Trash “grabbers” if you have some
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes

Additional Information
Volunteers of all ages are welcome; however, minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Community service hours can be certified for students upon request.
In case of inclement weather, updates will be provided via email.
Beach.com aims to provide the first 100 participants with a free event t-shirt.
