All activities listed are included with general admission pricing except for Animal Tales and planetarium show tickets. Military discounts available. 

Schedule of Events for March 17 & 18: Young Astronauts Planetarium Show, Creature Features, & sciPad

• Blast off to the planetarium in this show perfect for astronauts-in-training ages 3-5 from 10:30-11:00 a.m. All ages are welcome, but the focus on this show will be for the little ones to enjoy! Tickets for this show can be purchased at our front desk. Learn more about our planetarium dome, seating, and more here. Tickets for the planetarium do include an additional fee.

• Join us for a Creature Feature from 12:30-1:00 p.m. and check out some of our awesome Animal Ambassadors! Seating for the Creature Feature is available on a first come, first served basis. No reservations accepted.

• Check out the sciPad and play interactive games on our room-sized iPad from 12-2 p.m. 

  
  

Schedule of Events for March 19: Global Soundscapes Planetarium, Spring into Action, & sciPad

• Listen...can you hear that? It’s the sound of the Earth! Global Soundscapes takes you on a sound safari to explore the health of our planet...with your ears. Enjoy Soundscapes shows at 11:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. Tickets for this show can be purchased at our front desk. Learn more about our planetarium dome, seating, and more here. Tickets for the planetarium do include an additional fee.

•  Spring into action and save the planet! Create your very own spring-loaded superhero toy that uses the power of physics to leap into conservation. Then, channel your hero’s energy by sorting items into recycle, trash, or compost bins, learning how smart decisions can protect our environment. Harness the science of springs and the power of conservation to become a true Climate Action SuperHero!

Schedule of Events for March 20: Sensory Safari, Animal Tales, & sciPad

• Step into the wild and awaken your senses! Discover how animals experience the world as you explore touch, sight, smell, taste, and hearing in fun and interactive ways. Uncover the secrets of amphibians, insects, snakes, and more while learning how they navigate their environments. Get ready for a hands-on adventure that brings the animal kingdom to life from 10:30 a.m. til 12:30 p.m.

• Then, take a walk on the wild side and discover the many fun, fascinating, and fabulous critters that call the Science Center home. Our educators will be roaming around the museum with animals from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. for you to meet and learn about up close.  

• Check out the sciPad and play interactive games on our room-sized iPad from 1-3 p.m. 

• Interactive Animal Tales shows will take place at 10:30 and 11:45 a.m. Learn more and register for 10:30 a.m. show or register for 11:45 a.m show. Registration is required and additional fees are included for this show.

• Enjoy the equinox like never before during this planetarium show at 11:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. Tickets for this show can be purchased at our front desk. This is a great show for all ages to enjoy together. Learn more about our planetarium dome, seating, and more here. Tickets for the planetarium do include an additional fee.

• Celebrate the arrival of spring with a journey into the cosmos! Discover the balance of the spring equinox as you recreate the vibrant colors of the Northern Lights and design soda straw rockets to launch into the stars. Join us for a day filled with creativity, discovery, and hands-on fun that blends science and imagination from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
