About The Event
All aboard the STEAM Machine! Join our newest summer program every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 1:30-2:30 p.m. Enjoy different activities every week, from human and animal biology, to virology, chemistry, and more. Explore creative ways to solve challenges with the whole family.
July 28 and 29: Chemistry Makes Scents!
The fresh scent of cut roses or the sharp smell of minty gum may be delightful, while the odor of a skunk or rotting food is disgusting to us. This week we will explore the biology and chemistry of scents and smell. We’ll see just how much your nose knows!
The bus is open 11:30-12:30 and 1:30-2:30; feel free to climb aboard and come and go as you please during these hours. RSVPs are not required, but they do help us prepare enough materials for guests.
Access to the STEAM Machine is included with general admission to the museum.
$10 adults/$8 seniors/$8 kids/Kids 2 and under are free
