About The Event
All aboard the STEAM Machine! Join our newest summer program every Tuesday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in June and July. Enjoy different activities every week, from human biology, to engineering, robotics, and more. Explore creative ways to solve challenges with the whole family.
June 1st: Ozobots Explore Force & Motion
This fun, engaging activity combines programming skills and science content! Kids can use their knowledge of force and motion to code their Ozobots and just how much weight it can push when you change its speed.

June 27-29: Bones & X-Rays
If you’ve ever had a bad fall or broken a bone, you may already be familiar with X-rays. When a doctor needs to see something inside your body, they can use an X-ray machine to take pictures. Using our light tables, see if you can identify the part of the body you are looking at, and assemble the X-rays into a full human skeleton.
July 5 & 6: Nebula Spin Art
Nebulas are responsible for mixing up and spreading out elements in space. In this activity, you will make your own nebula using a little bit of paint and a lot of fun.
July 11-13: Cubelet Engineering
Cubelets are magnetic blocks that snap together to make an endless variety of robots. Come test your engineering skills and see what you can build.
July 18-20: Brain Hats
Our brains are responsible for everything we think, feel, say, and do. But how does it manage to do all of this? Explore the different lobes of your brain and make and take home a brain hat.
July 25-27: Spirographs
Interested in how gears can be used to create beautiful geometric artwork? Then you will love spirographs! Come see what you can make using our spirographs and take home a nice piece of art.
