About The Event
All aboard the STEAM Machine! Join our newest summer program every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 1:30-2:30 p.m. Enjoy different activities every week, from human and animal biology, to virology, chemistry, and more. Explore creative ways to solve challenges with the whole family.
June 23 and 24 Activities: Metabolism and Food Digestion
Why can’t you sprint a marathon? Why do we burp and pass gas? Find out this week as we delve into human metabolism and learn about how what we eat turns into the energy we use to fuel our daily lives.
The bus is open 11:30-12:30 and 1:30-2:30; feel free to climb aboard and come and go as you please during these hours. RSVPs are not required, but they do help us prepare enough materials for guests.
Access to the STEAM Machine is included with general admission to the museum.
$10 adults/$8 seniors/$8 kids/Kids 2 and under are free
