We would like to wish our Executive Director, Diane Fraser, a Happy Birthday!
Diane has worked hard at creating a place where everyone--from tourists to locals--can come and learn something new. She believes that if someone comes to the center and thinks in a different way or understands something they had not before, then we have succeeded in creating a scientifically engaged community.
Through her hard work, she also is our advocate at the center. As most bosses are, she is the "face" of the Science Center, and we wouldn't have it any other way! With her eagerness for adventure and doing something new, there is never a dull moment at the center. She also is a great spokesperson--from showing off our animals to attending events where she speaks in front of dozens of people, she always has something interesting to say, and her passion for the center is both obvious and incredible.
