Celebrate 10 Years of Inspiring Women in STEM at Our Women in Science Conference

For the past decade, the Emerald Coast Science Center has been connecting young women with local STEM professionals who are proving that the future of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics is bright, and it's being shaped right here in our community.
On Tuesday, September 22, we're excited to celebrate the 10th Annual Women in Science Conference at our new, larger venue, Beachside Church at 200 Racetrack Rd NW in Fort Walton Beach. After several consecutive sold-out events, we're expanding to welcome even more students, families, educators, and aspiring scientists for an inspiring evening of stories, networking, and discovery.
Throughout the evening, attendees will hear from accomplished women working across a variety of STEM fields, as well as a student currently pursuing a STEM degree. Rather than simply talking about their jobs, our speakers will share the experiences that shaped their careers: from solving real-world problems and embracing unexpected career paths to building confidence, learning from failure, and discovering the power of curiosity. Each presentation offers practical advice and encouragement for students exploring their own future in STEM.
Following the presentations, guests will have the opportunity to meet the speakers during a networking break before participating in a live audience Q&A panel. Whether you're curious about college, career paths, or what it's really like to work in STEM, this is your chance to ask questions and connect with inspiring role models.
Because it's our 10th anniversary, we're making this year's conference even more memorable with fun commemorative swag for attendees while supplies last. It's our way of celebrating ten years of empowering the next generation of innovators and thanking our community for helping this event grow year after year.
The conference is open to all ages and genders, with a special focus on elementary, middle school, high school, and college students interested in STEM. Student admission is free, while adult tickets are just $10, making this an affordable and accessible opportunity for families, educators, and community members to attend together. Registration is encouraged as seating is limited.
