Spring into the Science Center!

We aren't dandy-lyin’ when we say Spring Break at the center will be in full bloom soon.

Be sure to mark your calendar for Creation Station on March 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.! At today's event, guests can spark their budding imagination and explore the joy of music and rhythm by using a spin drum. You'll get to create and decorate your own spinning drum that will allow you to explore the wonders of music at this family-friendly activity.

Ready for Spring Break, ASAP? Check out our interactive flyers below to see what we've got going on beginning March 18 and ending on March 29...there's never too much of a good spring!

Access to all of these events and activities except for the Animal Tales shows is included with general admission pricing. Military discounts are also available. Please note we do have field trip visitors on March 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and March 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., so certain areas of the museum like the Reptile Room will only be accessible by field trip guests until noon, and then it will be open for all to enjoy! We appreciate your patience. Check out the rest of the lineup for week two below.

Want more details about our Animal Tales shows? Be prepared to get up close and personal with unique animals like you’ve never seen! We'll have a Flemish Giant Rabbit, Kookaburra, Prairie Dog, Bird Eating Tarantula, Tegu, and a Kinkajou in attendance at interactive shows with Animal Tales. You'll even get to touch some of the animals after each show. Talk about a Spring Break photo op to remember for years to come!

Guests will receive wristbands at check in. Space is limited; purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended. Online ticket price includes one Animal Tales ticket plus general admission per person; active Science Center members will also need to purchase show tickets per person (general admission is free for our members). Simply present your tickets to our front desk associate when you arrive, and they will provide you with the wristbands needed for your group.
